Kausi Parish

Kausi Parish is one of the smallest and yet growing parish in the Catholic Diocese of Mangochi it covers average of 15km2 and her population comes barely 1072 Christians today. Located south of Mangochi District and along M13 load, the parish has 7 out churches and 2 centres. There are 26 small Christian communities and 17 religious groupings within the parish.

It is in Kausi Parish where you will find Radio Maria Malawi and main studio and Daughters of Mary Immaculate University (DMI) ST John campus, ST John Nutrition Centre and others.

Kausi Parish in Ulongwe Deanery with three other parish and these being Kapile, Ulongwe and Chidzanya. Kausi Parish chose Ss. Joachim and Ann, parents to the blessed virgin mother as patron saints and 20th July each year they are venerated.
